CIS Year 3- Animal Life Cycles

 

Animal Limericks. 

 

 The following Limericks were a result of an initial investigation into poetry.  I thought that limericks would be an easier and more fun way to introduce poetry to the students. The students were asked to write limericks about their animals. Here  are their results: 

下面的诗就是小孩儿写了，老师给他们介绍爱尔兰的诗， 必须只有5行第一，二和五行的最后的子必须听起来一样， 第三，四行听起来一样。这种的诗必须搞笑的。 老师问孩子对他们的动物写一个诗。 

 

Today I have a fat killer bee,                                   

Angrily I kicked him out of the tree.                         

He stuck me with his stinger,                                   

And I pocked him with my finger,                            

So he angrily flew back to the tree.

       First I bought a mongoose with some money,           

Then I bought some blueberries with honey.            

I was a silly moose,                                                

so I am a silly goose,                                              

Because I used up all of my money and honey.

A polar bear does not like to eat honey,                      

He eats fish but does not use any money.                 

He plays out in the snow,                                       

Athough how I don't know,                                   

Their babies are cute and they're funny.

I saw a crazy cartoon called Bugs Bunny,                 

And I laughed so much because it was funny.           

He always tricks the man,                                       

And does all that he can,                                       

He likes to coat elma fudd in honey.

The animal I've chosen is a crocodile, 

They live in Egypt and can be found in the Nile. 

They have a tail that is long, 

And also pretty strong,

And a bight that is much worse than their smile.
